This week I focused on player experience, UI and Level design. The project is progressing to the point where it’s becoming increasingly playable, so adding all of the indicators for the player became more important as most of the core features now exist.
I added player indicators so players can now see an outline around their player in addition to a name tag tied to the settings menu. I also added a timer readout to the workstations that have sub-timers, so players know where they’re at within that sub-timer.
Finally, I added the first playable level that works end-to-end. Players can create an acid in additional to some other precursors required in future levels.
