Week 15

This week I focused on making the game more clear to the player as well as making the game feel more polished and fun. I started by changing our order system to use a conveyor belt system with recipe trays that player must place the required items on in order to complete. This keeps the game more fast paced, and adds variation into the recipes and orders being produced. I also added music to the main menu, lobby, and within the game.

I spent quite a bit of time working on the main menu screen, to make the game seem more fun and like something I’d want to play, while that is still in progress, I think the effect was quite immediate. Next week I’ll be working on updating the coop menu, as well as finishing the main menu.
